Kosovo's demographic structure attracts attention not only through its current labor market but also through its massive student population that forms the consumer and professional base of the future. According to 2024 census data, there are approximately 369 thousand active students aged 5 to 29 enrolled in formal education. This mass density, equivalent to 23% of the total population, presents an enormous organic market for private schools, nurseries and daycare centers, education technologies (EdTech), stationery/publishing, student dormitories (housing), and retail brands targeting youth. Kosovo is one of Europe's most dynamic ecosystems for education-focused investments and companies targeting the young consumer market.
