When ASK's "Users and traffic realized in fixed telephony" data is examined, fixed line usage is generally consolidated in the 66,000 to 75,000 subscriber range. Monthly data shows: January 2022: 75,201 registered users with 2,689,224 minutes of call traffic. January 2024: User count dropped to 66,397, but traffic rose to 3,052,262 minutes. January 2026: Fixed line user count recorded at 68,712 with 2,520,797 minutes of traffic. Seasonally, traffic reached record levels of 4,060,510 minutes during December 2022 corporate year-end closings. Despite the limited contraction in user numbers, this millions-of-minutes traffic proves that fixed lines are actively used as operational tools by businesses (B2B), call centers and official institutions rather than individual users.
