DATA-DRIVEN ANALYSIS Based on the official data file Investments by regions and investment category_ 2018 - 2024.csv, the internal investment distributions of enterprises in Kosovo's 7 main regions in 2024 are as follows: Machinery and Equipment Focused Region (Gjilan): Enterprises in the Gjilan region allocated 59.60% of their investment budgets to machinery and equipment in 2024, exhibiting the highest equipment appetite in the country. (Construction share: 31.84%). Construction and Facility Focused Region (Gjakovë): In the Gjakovë region, 79.24% of investments were directed to construction, recording massive physical growth (factory/building construction). (Machinery share: 16.04%). Balanced and Technology Focused Center (Prishtinë): Enterprises in the capital Pristina distributed investments in a balanced manner between Machinery (48.31%) and Construction (43.71%). Additionally, the country's highest Intellectual Property (software/license) investment rate of 3.95% was recorded in Pristina. Land (Tangible Asset) Investment Leader (Pejë): 12.14% of investments in the Pejë region were allocated to non-produced tangible assets (land acquisition), the highest rate in inter-regional comparison. Other Regional Balances: In Mitrovicë construction 59.81%, machinery 39.83%; in Prizren construction 59.15%, machinery 39.02%; in Ferizaj construction 52.20%, machinery 42.57%, exhibiting a balanced industry-construction distribution.
