DATA-DRIVEN ANALYSIS Based on the official data files Investments by economic activity_ 2018 - 2024.csv and New purchases_ imports and ongoing investments_ 2018 - 2024.csv, the 2024 performance of Kosovo Manufacturing Industry (Sector C) investments is as follows: Overall Investment Share: The manufacturing sector (C) single-handedly accounted for 16.48% of total fixed capital investments carried out by all sectors in Kosovo in 2024. Machinery and Equipment Leadership: 23.77% of all machinery-equipment purchases made for industry, transportation, and services nationwide were made directly by manufacturing firms. This rate makes the manufacturing industry Kosovo's largest equipment buyer. Import Record: The Manufacturing Sector carried out 60.50% of the "Investment-Purpose Import" volume realized by enterprises in the Kosovo market. Factory Land (Tangible Asset) Purchases: 17.97% of non-produced tangible asset (land) acquisitions nationwide belong to Sector C enterprises. After the trade sector, industrialists are the second-largest plot buyers in Kosovo. Construction Investments: Sector C received a 10.34% share from factory and building construction investments nationwide.
