The "Democratization Index," which measures society's perception of democratic processes in Kosovo, has shown a steady upward trend from 2011 to the present. 2011 Overview: According to data measured in March 2011, the index value was recorded at 0.92 for men and 0.93 for women. Development Process: Over the years, these figures have gradually increased as societal perception became integrated with institutional processes. For example, in May 2016, the index rose to 1.09 for men and 1.17 for women. 2024 Current Status: According to the most recent data from May 2024, democratization perception reached 1.65 for male respondents and 1.60 for female respondents.
