When examining the UNDP "Democratization Index by ethnicity" data, notable differences are observed between 2011 and 2024: 2011 Overview: In the May 2011 period, the Democratization Index was 0.92 for Kosovo Albanians (K-Albanian), 0.81 for Kosovo Serbs (K-Serbs), and 1.14 for Other ethnic groups (K-Other). Mid-Term Balancing: In October 2015 data, the index reached 1.02 for Kosovo Albanians, 0.99 for Kosovo Serbs, and 0.99 for Other ethnic groups, marking one of the periods when inter-group perception was closest to convergence. 2024 Current Status: According to the most recent May 2024 results, the democratization index rose to 1.67 for Kosovo Albanians while declining to 0.69 for Kosovo Serbs, and was measured at 1.36 for Other ethnic groups. This data clearly demonstrates that trust in institutional functioning and democratization perception can fluctuate according to the demographic structure of regions and groups
