DATA-DRIVEN ANALYSIS Based on the official ASK data in the files Investments by economic activity_ 2018 - 2024.csv and New purchases_ imports and ongoing investments_ 2018 - 2024.csv, the position of the Manufacturing (C) sector in fixed capital investments is as follows: Total Investment Share: As of 2024, the share of the Manufacturing Sector (C) within all enterprise investments in Kosovo was recorded at 16.48%. Machinery and Equipment Weight: 23.77% of total "Machinery and Equipment Investments" nationwide is carried out by the manufacturing sector. This rate is an indicator that the sector is rapidly increasing its equipment capacity. Construction and Land Investments: 10.34% of total construction investments nationwide and 17.97% of non-produced tangible assets (land etc.) were made by manufacturing sector companies. Import Record: The manufacturing sector single-handedly accounted for 60.50% of all "Import" items made by enterprises for investment purposes in 2024. Its share in new purchases was 13.28%. Trend Comparison: While Sector C's machinery investment share was 36.62% in 2023, it declined to 23.77% in 2024; however, the sector's share in total imports surged from 48.54% to 60.50%.
