BRIEF SUMMARY Enterprise construction expenditures in Kosovo are not limited to buildings alone; significant capital is also being directed to the infrastructure networks that form the heart of industrial facilities. According to official data, 10.87% of companies' construction budgets in 2024 was allocated to the construction of pipelines, communication, and electrical transmission lines. Additionally, metal constructions and complex industrial structures also stand out as consistent expenditure items. For engineering firms, energy transmission companies, and contractors performing industrial facility installation (EPC), these statistics prove the existence of a strong physical infrastructure market in Kosovo's industry that will power production lines.
DATA-DRIVEN ANALYSIS Based on the official ASK data from "Investments in construction buildings and other construction structures_ 2018.csv", Kosovo enterprises' infrastructure, energy line, and industrial construction investments in 2024 are as follows: Pipelines, Communication and Electrical Lines: Accounted for 10.87% of total construction investments in 2024, becoming the infrastructure item receiving the most budget after residential and commercial buildings. Complex Industrial Constructions: Holds a 1.75% share in 2024. (Note: This ratio rose to 10.68% in 2023, showing a significant heavy industry facility construction momentum.) Metal Constructions: Covers 1.23% of the enterprise construction budget as of 2024. Transport Infrastructure: The budget enterprises allocated to private transport/connection road construction was realized at 0.78% in 2024. Other Construction Structures: Other industrial and supportive construction activities not specifically classified received a broad 15.78% share.
