Data-Driven Analysis According to Kosovo Agency of Statistics (ASK) data, the gender distribution in juvenile convictions demonstrates a strong male predominance that has been consistent over the entire 2003-2017 period. In 2017, 726 of 766 convicted juveniles were male and only 40 were female. This approximately 95% male share in juvenile convictions mirrors the adult conviction gender profile and provides important sociological inputs for companies planning workforce strategies in Kosovo.
The consistently male-dominant juvenile crime profile in Kosovo has direct implications for corporate human resources planning. Companies establishing production facilities or service operations should factor this demographic reality into their risk management frameworks. Employment of female workforce demonstrates potential for creating stable working environments from a corporate discipline and security perspective.
