DATA-DRIVEN ANALYSIS Based on the official data files Investments by economic activity_ 2018 - 2024.csv and New purchases_ imports and ongoing investments_ 2018 - 2024.csv, the investment performance of Accommodation and Food Service Activities (Sector I) is as follows: Massive Surge in Total Investments (2023-2024): 2023: Sector I constituted only 1.75% of total enterprise investments in Kosovo. 2024: This ratio surged to 18.67% with extraordinary momentum, positioning the sector as one of the market's major players. Construction and Facility-Focused Growth (2024): Sector I single-handedly accounted for 32.05% of all construction investments carried out across Kosovo in 2024. (This ratio was only 2.00% in 2023). 8.11% of total machinery and equipment investments nationwide were made by Sector I enterprises (hotel and industrial kitchen equipment). New Purchases Leadership (2024): 22.56% of "New Purchases" made by enterprises in the Kosovo market were by the Accommodation and Food Service sector. The sector became one of the most active driving forces of fresh capital inflow in the market.
