When examining the responses of Kosovo citizens to the question "Who do you think is most responsible for Kosovo's current economic situation?", the consolidation in economic sovereignty perception is clearly visible: Absolute Dominance of the Central Government (Kosovo Government): In March 2011, the percentage of men who held the government responsible for the current economic situation was 73.3%, while for women it was 68.1%. By May 2024, this rate had risen to 77.5% for men and 72.2% for women, reinforcing the state's position as the main actor (and responsible party) in the economy. Rise of the Business Community: The percentage of those who held the business world responsible for the economic direction was at marginal levels in 2011 at 1.3% for men and 3.2% for women; by May 2024, it had risen to 7.1% for men and 9.3% for women, showing that the private sector's impact on the market is being felt more by the public. Collapse of International Institutions (EULEX, UNMIK, ICO): The 8-10% segment that held international missions (particularly EULEX and UNMIK) responsible for the economy in 2011 had approached zero (0%) by 2024, proving that the economic bill in the country is entirely attributed to local dynamics
