The responses of Kosovo citizens to the question "How satisfied are you with the current economic direction Kosovo is heading?" by gender clearly reveal the structural improvement in macroeconomic psychology: Radical Decline in Absolute Pessimism (Very Dissatisfied): In March 2011, the percentage of men who were "very dissatisfied" with the country's economic direction was 40.9%, while for women it was 34.7%. By May 2024, this extremely pessimistic perception had shown a tremendous decline to 6.6% for men and 5.8% for women. Increase in Satisfaction Rate: The percentage of those who stated they were "satisfied" with the economic direction was at very low single-digit levels of 5.4% for men and 6.1% for women in 2011; by May 2024 this rate had reached 28.7% for men and 20.8% for women. Expansion of Stable/Neutral Perception: The proportion of the neutral segment that was "neither satisfied nor dissatisfied" with the direction was in the 17-20% range in 2011; by 2024 it had risen to 32.1% for men and 39.6% for women, confirming that the market has settled on a more balanced expectation rather than extreme poles
