When examining the responses of Kosovo citizens to the question "Does the media in Kosovo enjoy freedom of expression?" by ethnic identity, it is evident that trust in information channels differs according to cultural background: K-Albanian (Kosovo Albanians): In May 2011, the percentage of those who thought the media was "not at all" free was 33.2%, and by May 2024 this rate had dropped sharply to 7.0%. Conversely, the percentage of those who believed the media was "completely" free rose from 7.9% to 31.0% in the same period, certifying strong trust. K-Serb (Kosovo Serbs): In 2011, the percentage of those who stated the media "mostly" enjoys freedom of expression was 16.5%, and this rate had declined to 6.2% in May 2024 data. The pessimistic segment that stated there was "no" media freedom of expression rose from 30.0% in 2011 to 42.4% in 2024, displaying a skeptical trend. K-Other (Other Ethnic Groups - Bosniak, Turkish, Roma, etc.): According to 2024 data, there is a significant segment in this group that believes the media is free at "mostly yes" (28.5%) and "fully yes" (15.1%) levels, with media trust distributed in a balanced manner
